Our certification and selection of materials enable airlines and operators to support their maintenance and customize their interiors to meet their operational or communication needs.
All our placards are supplied with TCCA “Form 1” certification and are FAA and EASA approved for the aircraft on our eligibility list.
In the recent years, LBM developed braille and tactile solutions to enhance interior placards and assist airlines to offer a more inclusive experience for travelers with visual impairments by helping them navigate cabins independently.
As a Design Approval Organization (DAO) and with our Supplemental Type Certification, LBM can fully customize all aircraft interior placards to provide options that are not offered by OEM but might be required by airlines for the operational needs.

All our materials meet airworthiness requirements for suitability and durability (FAR 25.603), Flammability (FAR 25.853(a)(1)(ii)) and not be easily erased, disfigured, or obscured criteria’s (FAR 25.1541(b)(2)).

Form 1 Certificate can be delivered with all placards for below aircrafts currently on our eligibility list. For any other aircrafts, placards can be delivered with a certificate of conformance.
